Upprásin fer nú fram þriðja árið í röð og munu samtals 27 hljómsveitir koma fram, þrjár á hverju tónleikakvöldi.Tónleikaröðin er liður í því að framfylgja dagskrárstefnu Hörpu um bætt aðgengi grasrótar og ungs fólks í öllum tónlistargreinum og auka við fjölbreytni. Markmiðið er einnig að tónlistaráhugafólk geti gengið að því vísu að heyra fjölbreytta nýja íslenska tónlist, beint úr grasrót tónlistarlífsins, flutta við kjöraðstæður í tónlistarhúsi þjóðarinnar.Miðaverð er aðeins 2000 kr. en hægt er að leggja til hærri upphæð í miðasöluferlinu sem rennur beint til listafólksins. ÓLÖF RÚN Ólöf Rún er söngkona og pródúser sem skapar draumkennda og rafmagnaða tónlist þar sem söngur, syn­thar og þeremín fléttast saman. Hún sækir innblástur í þjóðsögur og textagerð söngvaskálda og semur lög sem draga upp myndir af huldum heimum, dulúð og þrá. Með bakgrunn í myndlist og hljóðvinnslu nálgast hún tónsmíðar frá sjónarhorni pródúsersins – með næmni fyrir bæði hljóði og stemningu. Á tónleikum býður hún áheyrendum að stíga inn í sinn einstaka hljóðheim og gleyma sér um stund. MOOGIE & THE BOOGIEMEN Moogie & the Boogiemen eru systurnar Elín Bryndís og Margrét Helga sem hafa unnið saman að lagasmíðum og útsetningum frá barnsaldri. Elín Bryndís semur lögin að mestu og Margrét Helga útsetur, oft á gítar eða mandólín og bætir allskonar töfrum við.
